Chapter: 2 Feather and Mkia!

Jingle hopped along happily. "Jingle bells, oh, jingle bells-"
Suddenly, she stopped. She evidently heard something. What could it be? It was a slight humming, and now Jingle heard that it was a sweet voice singing.

Hmm.... she thought. I think it's a bird. Birds sing.
She suddenly look up, above her head. On a tree was a blue jay. The bird finished the song and started preening herself.

"That was a sweet song!!!" Exclaimed Jingle, amazed. The bird gave a kind-of yelp and almost fell from the branch. "I'm sorry to startle you!" Jingle continued.

"It-It's okay," stammered the bird.

"Oh," said Jingle, merrily. "I'm Jingle and I live 'round here, in my cave. Who're you?"

"I'm Feather," the bird said, shyly. "I live in this tree."

Just then, they heard a voice. "Feather! Where are you??" A black wolf appeared, as if from nowhere. "There you are. Who's this?"

"I don't know," said Feather, quietly.

"Oh, hallo, I'm Jingle!" said Jingle.

"Oh, I'm Mkia," asked the wolf. "Come on, Feather, what're you doing?"

"I was arranging my feathers," said Feather. "I'm coming." And she flew down.

"Won't you care to join us? We're having a New Year party just round here. It's supposed to be the biggest one ever." Jingle said it all in a quick breathe.

"Oh," said Mkia, not knowing what to say. "Well... uh..."

"Aw, come on! The more people, the jollier!!!" Jingle laughed, rolling over.

"Alright," Mkia smiled. "Sorry, I've gotta go. See ya soon!!!" She waved and went off.

"Scary," said Feather as they went away.

"Not really; just crazy, I think," said Mkia.

Chapter: 1 New Friends!

Next day, everyone woke up. Jingle yawned and went outside. The sunrise looks amazing. she thought. Hallo, who's this? A white wolf with teal markings was sleeping on the snow, just behind their cave. "Hi!" said Jingle, joyously. She was very happy today. The wolf opened her eyes in surprise, only to find that it was just a silly leopard. "Umm, yeah," said the wolf. "I'm Twister. I was a bit cold so I had to sleep here, where it was a bit warmer."

"Oh! Well, I'm Jingle and-" she paused as she saw Rock and Faelin coming. "These are Faelin and Rock! We're staying here together! Come and join us!" Twister looked confused. "Alright," she said. "Oh, hi, Bianca." "Hiya, Twister! Who are these?" A border collie trotted over. "These are some animals and they wants me to join them.. err," said Twister. "You too!" said Faelin to Bianca. "Alright!" They all went to the cave.

Prologue: Merry Christmas!

A white snow leopard was walking in the snow. She was going to her friend, Faelin's den. When she reached there, a merry voice greeted her. "Merry Christmas, Jingle! C'mon in!"

"Hey Faelin!" said Jingle and threw herself on Faelin. They rolled in the snow for a moment and then got up, shaking themselves. "C'mon, Jingle! There are surprises!" laughed Faelin. They both went inside. "Wow! This Christmas Tree is huge! Where's Rock?" said Jingle.

At that moment the door flung open and a gray wolf fell in. "Hey Faelin, Jingles! Merry Christmas! My word, nice Christmas Tree!" he said.

"C'mon Rock, let's have dinner now!" said Faelin. They had dinner and went to bed feeling happy. More fun tomorrow! thought Jingle as she went to sleep.
